These false teachers where used by the adversary of the Christian to deceive people into following them. As most scholars know, there was much deceptive writing and teaching going on in the early three hundred years after the true gospels were written. Mark, Luke and John as the Holy Spirit inspired their souls to write down what they heard the Master Rabbi, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, the Son of God say. Someone must have jotted them done to contrast much of the inspired texts written my Matthew. Nevertheless, I can not, will not, shall not endorse this so called Gospel of Thomas as inspired texts from Christ the Lord. This comparison is done only after four decades of Biblical text study and preaching nearly every week. I’m able to make analogies from the new testament gospels from what has been written here to see the points being made.

I think, there are some interesting worded statements that are comparable to the original Gospels and useful to study. These sayings try to parallel the New testament gospels but in my view are mostly far from the inspired texts of the four gospels.
